Wollongong Makers Market

The Wollongong Makers Market showcases the creative talents of local artists and artisans, with a plethora of one-of-a-kind handmade wares of exceptional quality.

The next market will be held on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 November 2023 from 9 am to 3 pm at the University of Wollongong's Innovation Campus in North Wollongong.

Come along to browse over 80 stalls displaying outstanding examples of ceramics, knitwear, crochet and sewing, macramé, leatherwork and woodwork, plus an absolutely wonderful collection of jewellery from fine silver to polymer clay designs, and a large combined stall from the Illawarra Craft and Arts Network (ICAN).

You'll also discover locally made perfumes, original paintings and prints, cards, hand-dyed clothing, handmade chocolates and much more.

We'll have a wide range of food stalls with an international flavour, along with coffee and local wines. Relax and enjoy jazz from the Wollongong Conservatorium of Music in a café-style lounge area downstairs in the Central building.

Local environmental groups will also be joining us, with displays showcasing their work to protect native wildlife.

It's easy to get to the market. You can walk, ride, catch the free green bus or drive and park for free. So please come along for a unique shopping experience and support your local artisans.
